About the Program

The Microelectronics - Photonics program offered by University of Arkansas offers students the opportunity to participate in cross-departmental research, to take applications-intensive classes from multiple engineering and science departments, and to develop workplace productivity skills in a simulated industrial environment.;Microelectronics-Photonics is the study of micro to nano scale materials, processes, and devices for applications including: electronic circuits and components; sensors (electromechanical, physical, chemical and biological sensors); and light generation, detection, emission, and manipulation.
